Headwaters is taking hay & straw export databases into the 21st century by providing a web-based export application. We have created numerous Access-based desktop export programs, but we are encouraging all of our customers to upgrade to the web-based version. The web application requires no software and can run from any web browser on any computer connected to the internet. You can set up different roles to allow different types of users access to different information. For instance, you may have a separate login for growers to access their relevent information, a login for your data-entry staff, a login for your customers to check on shipments, and a separate administrator login for yourself that gives you access to all the reporting features.

Tanloden, Austalia (web application)
Tanloden is a straw exporter in Australia that specializes in Oaten Hay. They export compressed straw and hay bale products to customers in Japan and Korea. Headwaters created a custom web application that allows them to enter deliveries of raw product, booking information, shipments of compressed bales, and other adjustments to inventory. The program tracks inventory and the amounts contributed by each farmer they contract with. Tanloden's main office is located more than a hundred miles from their production facility, so a web application was a natural choice to allow everyone to view and edit the same data from multiple locations.

Pressco, Oregon (access database)
PressCo is a hay and straw exporter located in Silverton, Oregon. Headwaters created a custom inventory database for them that tracks each bale from the grower's field all the way to the customer overseas.

Quality Trading, Oregon (access database)
Quality Trading is a co-op located in Aurora, Oregon. Their mission is to market grass straw, the by-product of the local grass seed industry. Their custom application has the same features as the others mentioned above, but it is more focused on tracking the product contributed by each co-op member and baler.
