California Cattlemen's Association

The CCA is a cattle industry advocacy group located in Sacramento, California. They had three ancient DOS-based databases that kept track of their membership information. Much of the data entry was redundant since the three databases were not tied together. Headwaters IT combined the different databases and created an efficient, user-friendly, single-entry application. Their new membership database stores all vital information on each member, including committee memberships, officer status, membership level, publication subscriptions, dues, county club memberships, and their total membership history. The database also generates dues statements, membership lists, mailing lists and labels, and a variety of other reports.

Since the membership database was such a success, the CCA contracted Headwaters IT to create a new application for their annual convention. This Convention database handles member and exhibitor sign-ups for their annual convention. In addition to receipt/confirmation letters for all participants, the database generates many invaluable reports, such as headcounts for meals and events, exhibitor lists, name tags, and lists of over- and under-paid participants.
